Experiencing A Green or Cloudy Pool Whilst Using Blu52?

Use these pointers to keep your pool sparkling for the entire year.

Taking care of your swimming pool does not have to be time-consuming. It should be simple and straightforward, allowing you to spend more time enjoying life. BLU52 is the pinnacle of swimming pool upkeep and maintenance.

    • To ensure that the water is clear and clean at all times, the pool filter must run for 6–8 hours.
    • To ensure adequate water filtering, replace the filter sand at least every two years.
    • Regardless of the pool’s size, a weekly backwash is required. This cleans and expels all dirt, trapped debris, and dust, ensuring that the water is clean and clear.
    • Backwash for a sufficient amount of time; check the cleanliness of the water using the visible glass tube on the pump valve selector before ending the backwash cycle.
    • A 20-second rinse is required after each backwash to ensure that sand in the pipes is not cycled back into the pool. This removes any remaining dirt, trapped debris, and dust from the filter, ensuring that the water is pure and clear.
    • When backwashing and rinsing, make sure the automatic pool cleaner is disconnected to guarantee that enough water is supplied into the piping system and that the pump/motor is not overworked.
    • When vacuuming material from the pool’s bottom, waste must be employed to ensure that debris is removed from the entire system and not returned to circulation.
    • It’s better to utilise a vacuum attachment that attaches to the net pole because an automatic pool cleaning disturbs debris.
    • When hand vacuuming, make sure the pump is set to “Waste” to remove dirt and impurities from the pool’s bottom.
    • The product will attach itself to algae and undesirable debris will fall to the bottom of the pool, making it easier to vacuum.
    • BLU52 contains a flocculent to increase filtration; the product will attach itself to algae and unwanted material will sink to the bottom of the pool, making it easier to vacuum.
    • Empty the catchment basket once a week to ensure that water flows smoothly from the filter to the pump and pool. The filter/pump activity will be limited if there is a blockage.
    • By eliminating any leaves or debris that may fall into the collecting basket, the risk of water turning green is reduced.
    • Maintain your swimming pool during the winter months to avoid complications when the summer season arrives.
